Accounting Minor

Accounting is the study and practice of collecting, analyzing, organizing and reporting financial information. Investors, creditors, managers and others depend on accurate and timely accounting information for decision-making purposes. A minor in Accounting is useful for students in any organization, whether private or public, service or manufacturer, corporate or nonprofit. The skills and knowledge developed in this coursework equip students with an understanding of accounting operations and best practices for contemporary organizations.
